How to Join Leagues & Tournaments as an Individual Player
If you're eager to join one of our exciting leagues or tournaments but don’t have a team yet, no worries—we’ve got you covered. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can join a league or tournament as an individual player.
Before you can join a league or tournament, make sure you have a CeleBreak account and are logged in. If you don’t have an account yet, you can easily create one through our app or website.
Browse through the available leagues or tournaments in the Explore section of the CeleBreak app. Find the one that excites you and suits your schedule.
Once you’ve found the league or tournament you’d like to join:
Select the League or Tournament: Tap on the event you're interested in to view more details.
Join as an Individual: Tap on 'Join League' or 'Join Tournament', then select 'I don’t have a team yet'. This option ensures you’ll be added to a team with other individual players.
When you register as an individual:
You’ll be placed in a pool of individual players.
A team will be automatically created once the minimum number of players is reached.
This newly formed team of individuals will take one of the available team spots in the league or tournament.
Your spot in the event is guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you sign up, the better your chances of securing a place!
After registering, your status will be in the "Finding your team" phase until you’re assigned to a team. This is done one registrations are closed. The registration closing date is displayed in the "Finding your place" alert. You can check the status of the league or tournament in the event’s details screen in the app.
Once you’ve been assigned to a team, you’ll receive a notification both in the app and on your phone (if notifications are enabled). The league or tournament will also be added to your profile under "Upcoming events".
If the event reaches its maximum capacity, you can join the waitlist in case a spot opens up. When joining the waitlist, you can indicate whether you have a full team or not.
Even if an event is full in terms of team spots, there might still be availability for individual players if the maximum number of players per team hasn’t been reached. In such cases, only individual players can join directly, while teams will need to wait for a spot to open up.
If your plans change and you need to withdraw, you can do so within the app. If you’re still within the refund window, you’ll receive a refund in CeleBreak credits, which you can use for future events. In the rare case that we can’t find you a team, you’ll automatically be refunded in credits. If your registration was canceled by CeleBreak, and you prefer a refund to your original payment method, you can contact our support team to arrange this.
