# Changing/resetting my password

# How to change or reset my password?
If you need to change or reset your password to log in to CeleBreak, don’t worry—it’s a simple process! Just follow the steps below, whether you're locked out or already logged in.

### If you are logged (and locked ;) ) out of your account
* On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?”.
* Enter the email address you used to register your CeleBreak profile.
* You’ll receive an email with a link to set a new password.
* Click the link and follow the steps to create a new password.
* Once your new password is set, you can log in and get back to signing up for games or events!

### If you're already logged in and want to reset your password
* First, log out of your account.
* On the login screen, follow the same steps above:
* Tap “Forgot password?”
* Enter the email you registered with.
* Check your inbox for the reset email and follow the link to set a new password.

### Special note for users who registered with Facebook
* If you signed up using Facebook, make sure you enter the same email connected to your Facebook account when resetting your password.
* Once you reset the password, the Facebook login option will no longer work. You’ll need to manually log in with your new password and email address moving forward.

||| The password reset link is only valid for 1 hour from when you receive it. If it expires, you’ll need to request a new one.
