We understand that life can be unpredictable, and at CeleBreak we value flexibility. At the same time, we also want to keep games full and fair for everyone — so we’ve set a few simple rules 👇

✅ Cancel +15 hours before kick-off

You’ll get your full amount back as credits in your app.
Credits are in-app balance — they don’t expire and can be used to join any future game. Learn more about credits in our help centre article: CeleBreak credits: How does it work?
Refunds are issued in credits (not back to your bank account).

If you cancel your participation for pick-up games outside the 15h refund window, no refund will be issued.

How to Join Game through the App

Once you have downloaded our app and have successfully registered your new account, you are ready to join your first game. Here we'll show you step-by-step how to join games in just a few simple clicks!

Step 1: Select your city and choose the match that you want to participate in.

Step 2: Click the button labeled "Join game" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Select your preferred payment method, then click the button labelled "Pay" at the bottom of your screen to confirm the transaction.

Step 4: Show up at 15 minutes before kick-off to check-in with the match host

Missing players: What Happens if a game is not full?

CeleBreak games usually fill up and are rarely canceled due to a lack of players. However, it’s important to understand the difference between a confirmed game and a full game.

Confirmed vs. Full

Confirmed means the game has reached the minimum number of players required and will be played.
Full means there are no spots left. A game does not need to be full to be confirmed. Even if there are still open spots, the game will still go ahead as long as the minimum number of players has been reached. The format of the game might change slightly. For example; a scheduled 8vs8 game might be played 7vs7 or 6vs6.

Minimum number of players (general guidelines)

The minimum required to confirm a game depends on the format and may vary slightly by city or field size.

Standard minimums

5 vs 5 + 2 subs – Minimum: 10 players
6 vs 6 – Minimum: 10 players
7 vs 7 – Minimum: 10 players
8 vs 8 – Minimum: 12 players
9 vs 9 – Minimum: 14 players
11 vs 11 – Minimum: 20 players

In some cities certain fields (for example, larger F7 pitches) require a different minimum number of players (such as 12 instead of 10) to ensure the best possible experience. These minimums are predefined based on previous feedback and player preferences.

Dresscode: What boots/shoes should I wear?

Although it's not mandatory to wear football boots, you may just participate with your usual sneakers, if you wish to wear proper football gear, you must keep in mind that not all type of shoes are allowed at all pitches or formats.

To keep our games safe, enjoyable, and respectful of each playing surface, different types of footwear are required depending on the pitch and format. Below you’ll find a clear overview with ✅** allowed** and ❌** not allowed** footwear for each type of field we use.

F5 on Indoor Gym Floors

Indoor surfaces are hard and smooth, so only non-marking shoes are allowed. Cleats of any type are not permitted.

✅ Smooth-sole, non-marking indoor or futsal shoes (recommended) ❌ Multi-cleat / multistud turf shoes ❌ Molded or large studs ❌ Metal studs

F5, F6, F7 - Artificial Turf (Small or medium sized fields)

Shorter turf requires shoes that grip without damaging the surface. Long studs are not allowed.

✅ Smooth-sole, no-cleat shoes ✅ Multicleat / multistuds (turf shoes) — recommended for optimal traction ❌ Big or molded cleats (FG/AG used for F8–F11) ❌ Metal studs

These formats allow more flexibility, as the turf is suited for a range of football boots. Only metal studs are prohibited for safety reasons.
