Voting for player of the match

Player of the event, man of the match, teammate of the game, MVP, or how you may call or perceive it, the real question is: Who made your game a better experience?

After each match, you can vote for one player who stood out to you. This isn't necessarily about who was the best or strongest or most talented player on the pitch. Maybe they scored the winning goals, but maybe they also brought great vibes, encouraged others, showed a great attitude, or simply made the game more enjoyable. You decide what made their game special.

How voting works

Voting happens in the same post-game flow together with the compliments.

• You can vote for one player per game.
• Voting is completely anonymous. Players won't know who voted for them — or who didn't.
• The player with the most votes when the voting window closes wins the Player of the Game award.
• The voting window typically closes 24 hours after the game.

Unlike compliments, voting is only available during the 24-hour voting window. Once it closes, no more votes can be added or changed.
It doesn't matter whether only one person voted or everyone who played submitted a vote. Once the window closes, the votes are final and the Player of the Game is announced.
So think back to the game, pick the person who made your experience better, and give them some well-deserved recognition! 🙌
